Prof. Dana Tzur Bitan
| Professor Dana Tzur Bitan (PhD) is an Associate Professor at the Department of Community Mental Health, University of Haifa, and a senior clinical psychologist at the psychiatric emergency room of Shalvata Mental Health Center (MHC). As the head of the Psychotherapy and Psychiatry Research Lab in Shalvata MHC, her research focuses on roots to understand the epidemiology and etiology of severe mental illness, as well as roots to improve psychotherapeutic interventions in the public mental health domain. Prof. Tzur Bitan published more than 90 scientific publications in highly ranked journals, and is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology (JCCP), a Consulting Editor at the American Psychologist. She also serves as the co-chair of the international committee of Division 29 of the American Psychological Association (APA), as a visiting professor at University of Bergamo, Italy, and as a member of Horizon 2020 funded research consortium (ERA-NET Neuron).
